About Me

I am highly self-motivated, focused, and innovative Mechanical Engineer with teaching experience as an assistant professor, I taught three courses at Shree Ram College of Technology. I am passionate about designing related to mechanical engineering such as Product design and assembling it. Additionally, I have a basic knowledge of manufacturing and costing the products.  I am not only restricted to product design but also I have great knowledge and understanding about heating ventilation and air conditioning system(HVAC). I am adaptable in any circumstances as I worked in the industry as an operator and taught in college.

Product Developments

Product Designing

  •  Engineering Design and Drafting: This subject involves paper drafting (A1, A2 size) of scale, conic section, special curves, projection of line planes and solids, Section of solid, Isometric projections; and CAD  design which involves Auto-CAD.

Prototype Designing

Taught and coordinated in the following courses:

  1.  Engineering Design and Drafting: This subject involves paper drafting (A1, A2 size) of scale, conic section, special curves, projection of line planes and solids, Section of solid, Isometric projections; and CAD  design which involves Auto-CAD.
  2. Machine Drawing & Design: This subject covers the topic of drawing conventions, assembly of machine drawing on the engineering sheet. Also, it covers detailed design and calculation of various joints and fasteners which often withstand static loads.
  3. Turbo Machinery: Energy Transfer in turbo-machinery, Steam Turbine and its compounding, water turbine and etc.
  4. Mechanical Vibration & Noise Engineering: This subject involves topics fundamental aspects of vibrations, undamped free vibrations, damped free vibration, harmonically excited vibration, whirling motion & critical speed, system with two degrees of freedom, and basics of noise engineering.
    It includes lesson planning and documentation.

Projects

BAJA SAEINDIA 2013

BAJA SAEINDIA is an event for undergraduate engineering students. Several factors contribute to making a winning buggy. First and foremost the buggy has to meet the strict specification of the rule book. The philosophy hasn’t changed since the event’s birth back in 1976 – the teams still need to build a simple all-terrain vehicle for recreation purpose that is aesthetically and ergonomically sound while still being a fun and durable machine in real-world conditions. The evaluation process for the BAJA SAEINDIA is a twofold process and students have to clear the Virtual BAJA preliminary round before they start manufacturing their buggy’s for the main events.

Structural Analysis on Weld-neck flange.

This project illustrates the design and simulation of Weld-Neck flange assembly which will help to minimise the gasket failure occurs in pipeline industry by using simulation method. This project also provided the safe loading condition on the flange, gasket, and bolts.

Hook Design and 3-D Printing

This hook design was best among six different  hook design. The load bearing capacity of hook was compared by weight to the strength ratio. This hook design used Ultimaker Cura software to obtain G-code to print it by 3-D printer

Photochemical Smog Capture Device

This project based on the final-year major project of my post-graduate program at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. I completed this project between May 2019 and December 2019 where I tried to solve a global problem of air pollution specifically faced by China. I designed a photochemical smog capture device using the direct method. This was a group project, however, I worked on it as a CAD person while other members had different roles in this project.
